Welcome to iWIST Scholarships

You already know your work will make a difference. Whether it’s developing vaccines or building ethical AI, you’re ready to apply your STEM education to make the world better. We want you to succeed. All iWIST scholarships support women and those who identify as women studying STEM full-time after their first year at a Vancouver Island post-secondary institution.

Our scholarship program is made possible through the generosity of our community.

From the dedication of our many volunteer adjudicators, to our headline sponsors for 2026, Redbrick and Shift, and all others who have helped fund, or dedicated time to making this program a success, we’re proud to offer cash scholarships that empower and elevate the next generation of STEM leaders.
