Lisa founded FrontierCFO, a firm that offers virtual Chief Financial Officer (CFO) services to start-ups across Canada. Focusing on the tech space, she has a passion for helping strong teams with great ideas succeed in the early stages of their growth. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of British Columbia, is a Chartered Professional Accountant, and is currently enrolled in year three of the In-Depth Tax Course offered by CPA Canada.
While living in Vancouver, Lisa volunteered on the finance committee of the False Creek Yacht Club and participated in planning many social events. After moving to Vancouver Island, she wanted to find ways to build strong relationships with the community she now lived in. After attending iWIST’s Geeky Girls Patio Party, she saw the incredible group of women involved and was excited to further support women in STEM by joining the board of directors.
