2020/10/20 Mini Self-Care Workshop
We’re all dealing with a tremendous amount of pressure these days. It’s easy to get caught up in everything we need to get done and neglect taking care of ourselves and that’s a mistake. When we’re dealing with challenging times, it’s more important than ever to make self-care a priority if we want to be able to operate at optimal efficiently, maintain our sanity and show up as our best self for others. Women in STEM have the added pressure of working in a field which is constantly changing and requires extra effort just to keep on top of each new development.
Sue Maitland has delivered her mini self-care workshop to hundreds of women and each participant has left inspired to make a personal commitment to increased self-care. In this interactive virtual workshop, Sue will invite participants to share some of the barriers to practicing self-care and the impact of not making time for self-care. Each participant can choose how much they share with the group and time will be allocated for individual work and reflection. The six pillars of self-care will be explored and participants will leave with three actions they will commit to making in the next month. Sue also shares a powerful story from one of her clients that is sure to motivate you to follow through on your commitments.
WHEN: Tuesday, October 20, 2020 11:45am – 1:00pm PDT
